This spacious well presented drinks / sports bar is located third line to the beach in a delightful street which is very popular with both tourists and local ex pat residents who create very good out of season trade. A large high level projector screen gives everyone uninhibited views and where together with 3 other televisions show all sports events with the weekend football proving a main draw, programmes come via cable tv which is only available in a few areas. There is then a raised area where the pool table and darts board are positioned, these two segregated areas give customers rarely available options to either have a quiet drink and chat or enjoy a game of pool or darts without disturbing other customers.
The bar is very versatile with a more upmarket feel than many other bars, so for those wanting to drop the sports bar image and operate a more main stream establishment then easy transformation is possible. The bar has rights to have 4 tables of 4 on the pavement directly in front of the bar which has an enviable position with visibility from the main Paseo. The well illuminated and signed frontage attracts the passing tourists.
A good sized room accessed from behind the bar is used at present for chilled bottle storage, could be developed easily into a cold snack kitchen prep area or with a little more investment into a kitchen for hot food preparation if food sales are a consideration.
A further big plus for the bar is a large rear patio which has both secure and open storage ideal for discounted bulk purchasing, a benefit not normally available with Spanish built bars and giving the potential for promotional offers that normally create a boost to profits from the locals crowd. The bar also has more than above normal sound proofing levels with double front entrance doors, an advantage when trading in the early hours in a residential area.
This bar has great potential and is available after 2 years under the present ownership, by their own admission running a bar is not for them and further state the enthusiasm is not there.
